Summer Movie Nights In NYC
Doesn't watching a movie in the park sound like the perfect summer night? We thought so too! We did a little research and found there we several parks that screen movies all summer long for free. It is hard to find things to do in New York City for free. It seems very old school and nostalgic to us, sort-of like a drive in. The are various places in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island participating!
We checked the list of parks that were screening movies and the movie list. We chose "Fried Green Tomatoes" to go see. We LOVE that movie and grew up watching it. It was definitely a classic in our household/a classic in general.
Before the park, we chose the perfect blanket for the viewing. Then we stocked up on a healthy movie snacks. Thank you Whole Foods! We are trying to still make good choices even when we are having an evening of splurging.
