Our Fave New Find Of The Week: This Fiery Palo Santo Scented Candle
When Darby and I started the search for our "signature scent" for both our selves and our homes — I decided that I wanted my home to forever smell like palo santo. There's something about the light and peaceful scent that just feels homey to me, so I want to be hit with it the second I open the front door.
Naturally, I set up little burn stations all over the apartment. One in the bathroom, one in the bedroom, the living room — you get the idea. I love the idea of palo santo in a candle format given the longer burn time. This candle is only 1.5 ounces, but it is so strong! You can light it for just a few minutes and blow it out and have the room smell like palo santo for hours. So, ever since I added this to my collection of palo santo, I smell this lovely scent as soon as I walk in the door, just like I wanted! Mission accomplished!
I particularly enjoy lighting this while I do yoga to add an extra bit of enjoyment to my practice. But, whether you cuddle up with a good book or just light it while you're cooking or working — there's really no wrong way to reap the benefits of the palo santo scent in your home.
