7 Monkey Bread Recipes That Are Perfect For Feeding Crowds

Maybe it's because the holidays are right around the corner or the fact that my sister and I are both not "home" for the first time, but we've been craving recipes we used to eat growing up. And monkey bread is definitely one of those. So, in honor of making it feel like home wherever you are, here are seven monkey bread recipes to make if you're attending holiday parties or otherwise feeding a crowd. Of course, we also highly recommend keeping this all to yourself!

This isn't the first time we've talked about monkey bread on the blog, considering it's one of our favorite easy, crowd-pleasing recipes. In fact, we've even made a mini-version, and if you're interested in seeing how that's done, check the post out here!

Now — back to the monkey recipes at hand. We love a good original, which features cinnamon and sugar all on its own, but there are also more unique versions that sound absolutely delicious, too.

Check 'em out below:

1. Classic Monkey Bread

This family knows what's up. They used little more than biscuit dough, brown sugar and cinnamon to create some ooey, gooey pull-apart goodness.

2. Pecan Praline Monkey Bread

Being from Savannah, we love a good praline! So combining the flavor of carmel-y pralines with monkey bread sounds like a great idea to us!

3. Pretzel Monkey Bread

If you're looking for a savory, but equally as yummy appetizer option, this pretzel monkey bread version should do just the trick! It comes with a honey mustard dipping sauce — so get ready to eat a TON of this because honestly, it seems pretty hard to resist.

4. Carrot Cake Monkey Bread

Instead of using biscuits, this recipe uses carrot cake mix to form the dough, then goes in with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Oh, and don't forget the cream cheese icing. Count us in!

5. Funfetti Monkey Bread

Recipe: I Am Baker

The next time you're in the mood to dig into a cake — ditch the fork and reach right in to a recipe like this funfetti cake-inspired monkey bread. How fun?!

6. Hawaiian Monkey Bread

You can't go wrong with coconut and pineapple, as far as we're concerned, so why not cover monkey bread in it? The Yellow Bliss Road website recommends serving this for brunch, and we've got to admit — that sounds quite perfect!

7. Peaches 'N Cream Monkey Bread

A unique take on peach cobbler, this combines everything you love about juicy peaches and flaky pie crust into a dessert you can pick apart with your fingers. Yum!

We'll be whipping quite a few of these up this holiday season and really, anytime we're feeling homesick. What about you?
