7 Ways To Make Your Home Smell Like Christmas All Year Long

Christmas may have come and gone, but that doesn’t mean all of the cheer has to leave along with it. Part of what makes the holiday season so great (besides the presents, of course) is all of the smells. I mean between the tree, all of the baking, the spiced coffees, there are a ton of wonderful scents to love about the season.

If you enjoy the scent of pine in January, February and all of the other months besides December (like the Labels and Lacquer girls do), you’re going to want to try out these seven ways to incorporate the smell of Christmas into your home all year long.

Fresh cranberries and a multitude of spices including cinnamon, cloves and anise combine for one incredibly scented potpourri that you can add water to and simmer throughout the day. Each and every day, if you’d like. Because who said Christmas has to happen only once a year?

Heating a couple of tablespoons of vanilla in the oven will have your house smelling like you’ve been baking cookies. All of the smells without any of the calories. Sounds like a great idea, doesn’t it?

A little water and some essential oils is all you need to create a spritz that will make each and every room in your home smell like the best day of the year. It’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas!

Wax fire starters that are filled with sprigs of rosemary, cinnamon and pine cones will have every fire you make during the winter season reminding you of Christmas day.

Wine mixes with fresh citrus fruits, wine, cloves and more to make a drink that will taste delicious and smell even better.

Cinnamon essential oil on top of pinecones will make for a scented centerpiece that you’ll want to set out all year long.

A wreath that’s covered in dried oranges will be a great fit in your home no matter what season it is. But, of course, it’ll remind you of the best season of all!

May the spirit of Christmas never leave your home!
