New Vintage Store Finds We're Loving
We love any kind of fashion labels (obvious from our blog name ;)),new or vintage. Recently we've been finding more and more vintage brands online. If you have been reading the blog recently you already know our love of The Break in Brooklyn. We even attended a NYFW week party there. Shopping vintage is so much fun but the clothes already have a life of their own, and you can add another story to the piece!
Graphic tees and mile high 1970s bell bottoms. Just typing that gets us all excited! Darby used to intern at a vintage clothing store in high school. That is really when the love of vintage clothing started. That and us wearing our mom's vintage goodies from her closet. She got to go on buying trips and learn more about how to determine which era the clothing came from.
Recently Augusta also been scoring some major vintage finds. Her recent Dior purchase from Cluebelle was pure LUXURY! If you are wanting to add some fashion history to your closet too, keep scrollin'!!!
This store has everything from groovy leopard knit tops to posters with the greats like Mick Jagger. One of our favorite items from the shop is actually a rainbow sweater tank.
Knit Rainbow Tank $45, Electric Love
At Miracle Eye you can shop amazing vintage finds like fringe jackets and flare pants from the 1970s annddd they also have their own label. Their label is of course also inspired by retro fashion. We are really wanting some of their graphic tees. So cute!
This Etsy store has it all. We are really eyeing their shoes though!! These particular boots are already sold out, so act quickly when you see a piece you gotta have from them!
Daytrippin' Ringer Tee, $45, Electric West
Okay, this brand isn't technically a vintage store. But they sell vintage-inspired graphic tees. That counts for us! All the oldie feels are still there! This daytrippin' tee is great for all the upcoming spring break trips!
This is another goodie based in NYC. They have clothes and homeware. They even have a Jeanius bar full of throwback denim. The fashions they found are either sold as is or re-worked with a little Vintage Twin magic.
Fashion is cyclical, it's so interesting that these older pieces are still stylish. And then some things never go out of style!
