Our Fave New Find Of The Week: Oval Sunnies
The ‘90s have been majorly on-trend, and we couldn’t be more into it. We love wearing turtlenecks, berets, high-waisted baggy denim — you name it! So, you better believe we’ve hopped on board the trend train in more ways than one.
We’ve added a ‘90s vibe to our accessory game by pairing oval sunnies with our looks. We each got a pair from Urban Outfitters, and it’s been a great purchase. Darby chose to go with white frames and Augusta went with the black version. You can find the exact pairs we ordered here.
Since we made our purchase, they’ve added even more colorways, and we’ve gotta say — we’re loving those, too. So, don’t be surprised if we shop those versions in the near future, too.
Here's the classic black pair.
Along with the mod white version.
This tortoise shell pair is going on our wish lists!
And this yellow version is super cool, and well...we'd love to have them, too, if we're being honest.
Because of their oversized shape, the sunnies add an instant glam factor to any look. In the 1990s this type of oval sunglasses were typically fairly small, so the fact that these are larger than life offer a slightly more modern take on the trend — just because you’re on-trend doesn’t mean you have to blend in!
Considering how up-to-date these make us feel (and the fact that they're only $18!), these were an easy pick for our “fave new find of the week.” If you’re into this eyewear too, you should definitely consider shopping a pair for you and a friend because in our personal opinions — matching is better.
And if you’d love to try trendy sunglasses out all of the time (without spending a ton of money), you should definitely consider signing up for Urbanity 2030. It’s a subscriptions service that sends the most popular styles right to your door for just $10 a box. You can take 20% off of your first box with code STATZ4. It’s certainly worth a try!
