Got a problem? Glossier’s got the Solution. Their latest product launch will revamp your skincare routine in a BIG way. You can take my word for it. I had the chance to try out their newest product, Solution, and let me tell you — it’s going to work wonders for your skin, especially if you’ve never used any kind of liquid exfoliant before.
Ok, so what exactly is Glossier’s Solution? Well, it’s a liquid that’s made up of AHA (alpha hydroxy acids), BHA (beta hydroxy acids) and PHA (poly hydroxy acids), and together, these acids work wonders to even skin texture, reduce redness, keep acne away and overall — give you a stunning complexion. It’s a liquid, so it’s not abrasive like coarse exfoliators and scrubs, but it still works to get rid of dead skin cells to leave only the freshest, most renewed skin behind!
Before using Glossier’s version, I was using a two percent BHA exfoliant from Paula’s Choice and absolutely loving it. When I first started using the Paula’s Choice product, I noticed major differences with my skin. For instance, my face was SO incredibly soft. And the red spots under the skin from previous acne? They began to fade almost immediately.
I think if I hadn’t already been using a liquid exfoliant in my routine, I would have noticed a significant difference when I started using Glossier’s version. Instead, I noticed more of the same except Glossier’s Solution is stronger — 10 percent — and has a pump that makes it so easy to use. A major reason to love all things Glossier — the packaging!
The new product from Glossier didn't disappoint, even though I had very high hopes after using Paula's Choice. It continued to reduce the appearance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation a.k.a. the spots left behind after acne (which is a huge issue for me), and that's a win in my book. This beauty brand's won my heart all over again!
Solution is now officially available for purchase for just $24, and after trying the stuff out for myself, I’d definitely recommend adding this to your top shelf. If you struggle with acne the way that I do, this could be a game-changer for your routine. But, keep in mind that it's not good to over-exfoliate. So, if you're interested in trying Solution, you may want to let it take the place of other acids/scrubs you're using. The brand swears that this stuff works hard for you without drying you out or making you feel like you're stripping your skin — and I can attest to that, too!
