Non-Potted Plant Apartment Accessories To Buy If You Don't Have A Green Thumb
Augusta definitely is the one with the green thumb between the two of us. She does a great job filling her apartment with cool plants and researching each one so she knows how to take proper care of it. However, my apartment doesn't get too much light. The plants I'm able to get are limited—they have to be okay living in low light. Luckily, Augusta has helped me find a few options that would work.
In the meantime I started adding different accessories to my space that weren't potted house plants. I started by going to local farmers markets or delis near me to buy flowers. It really is one of my favorite Sunday activities to treat myself with a fresh bouquet. Then I started branching out to other things that were dried, like eucalyptus. Augusta also loves buying fresh flowers. She has so many great plant shops right by her apartment with the best flower selection. She also buys fresh palms leaves and other exotic leaves, see them pictured below.

1. Pampas Grass

I recently purchased a big vase from CB2 and filled it with dried pampas grass. Try looking around at some of your plant stores for this or I always like checking out Etsy.
2. Fresh Flowers
Yes, this option does die. But it's fun to buy flowers for yourself and refresh your space every few weeks with new floral colors and scents.
3. Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus is a go-to for me. You can buy it dry so it last forever, or as long as you want it in your home. You can buy it fresh too. It makes the whole room smell and I love how grand it looks in any vase.
