Our Go-To Products To Prevent Winter Dryness

In the winter it is always hard to keep your skin replenished and avoid dryness. Especially since we both live in New York, which is such a cold climate during the winter months. We are constantly using hand cream and trying new products to incorporate into our makeup/skincare routine. We love this topic so much we even wrote about it last year, read last year's edition here.

Last year Augusta bought me Glossier's priming moisturizer rich. And I absolutely loved it! I put it on every morning before applying my makeup. But I would also use it as lotion after I washed my face at night and even applied to my lips when they were really dry. It is sort of a miracle product for me!

Along the way to preventing dryness, we have also found some more gems we can recommend that we have featured below!

1. Crème de Glossier

Priming Moisturizer Rich, $35, Glossier

Here's the magical product I talked about earlier. It is thick, but really rubs into your skin nicely really prepping your skin for long-lasting makeup.

2. Cleansing Oil

Among the Flowers Cleansing Oil, $16, Urban Outfitters

Facial oils are really great for rub into your skin once it a while to make your skin silky smooth!

3. Water Stick

Ilia Cucumber Water Stick, $42, Anthropologie

This is a toner in stick form! It doesn't get better than that, folks. It is the perfect size to throw in your bag whenever your skin needs a little pick me up.

4. Burt's Bees

This is a classic. We have been using this since our middle school days, but this peppermint balm is a favorite of ours. It really does prevent chapped lips! It is a product we swear by— year round!

5. Super Bounce Serum

Super Bounce Serum, $28, Glossier

This is perfect for when you are feeling dry. Just apply it on before your priming moisturizer.

Your skin is going to be ready for the winter this season! Bundle up and don't stress about your winter skincare routine!
