Remix A Classic With These S'mores Recipes

It’s becoming the time of year where s’mores are a must-have (who am I kidding, it’s always a great time for them). There’s nothing like cooking these tasty treats over an open fire, but if you’re lazy (us) or don’t have the resources nearby to you know, just start a fire anywhere you want (us), then there’s a solution. It won’t have quite the same effect, but you can totally make some marshmallow goodness in the oven. Just put the oven on the broil setting, and you’re good to go. Like I said, not as great as cooking them over a campfire or anything, but we’ve come up with some inventive recipes to cushion the blow a little bit.

Try out these recipes when making indoor s’mores (or just making them, in general) for a new and exciting version of a tasty treat. These are the fun remixes we tried out:

Banana and Salted Caramel S’mores

These were so delicious. You layer caramel, salt crystals and bananas on top of a graham cracker and top it all off with a marshmallow. It’s messy, but so worth it.

Rice Krispies S’mores

Instead of using graham crackers, we used a Rice Krispies treat. Then, we switched out chocolate for Nutella. It was sweetness overload, but in a good way!

Cookies ’n Cream S’mores

For this one, we changed a regular old Hershey’s bar for their Cookies ‘n Cream Hershey’s bar, and it made all the difference.

If you’re looking for some fun in the great indoors (or outdoors, I suppose) give these recipes a try! It’s always fun to put a twist on a classic, you know?
